Blight (n.) - a thing that spoils or damages something **** A cold breeze flew through the attic as a mother held her bundle closer to her chest. "She looks like you." The mother whips her head to where a woman in blue stood by the window. "Yes, she does," The mother said, looking at her daughter's green eyes. The woman in blue chuckled and took the bundle into her arms. She held her hand to the baby's head. "Oh my." The mother stood and her eyes widen. "What is it?!" The woman in blue shook her head. "Let us begin the awakening of powers." The woman began to sing, "Child of Ice Will not play nice. You are not like any other. A rare gem, You are different then them. Beware of all, Child of Ice." The infant giggled and her hands glowed an icy blue. The woman in blue grimaced. "You must leave the child. If you stay with her, they will find her." The woman in blue gave the mother her child and walked towards the window. "Farewell and good luck, Child of Ice."

It's been five years since Evie has taken the throne, and still there has been no improvement in bringing the Spring and Fall courts to trust her. It has actually gotten worst, they've united against her and the Summer court, refusing to trade any longer. Evie has pleaded with them and has tried to show the stubborn royals that she is not her mother, but they will never believe a winter. She can tell that this is going no where, she can tell that it's heading towards a war. ***SIDE NOTE: I KNOW THERE ARE ERRORS IN THE STORY ( GRAMMATICAL, TENSE SHIFTS, SPELLING, WRONG WORDS ETC. ETC. ) BUT I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO GO BACK AND EDIT, NOR DO I THINK I EVEN EVER WILL. WITH THAT BEING SAID JUST READ AND ENJOY THE STORY****
