As I lay still in the dark, I see my room. I see the coral pink walls, dividing it with a wall border of books, and pastel red paint below it. I see the warm champagne carpet, layered with clothes scattered around, even a case of paint tubes and pastels in the corner. I see my oak wooden dresser with reminders, quotes, verses, and doodles drawn on sticky notes. I see the cedar wooden computer desk, with video games racked and cluttered papers, notes, and books just covering the laptop. Near that would be the computer chair, with Holly laying on it if not occupied with a pile of clothes. I see my blinds before the frosty window, seeing the crispy white snow on the ground and pine trees in a line.

In this dark room I lay, I see my room and when the sun rises, I can only wish I see what I imagined.
