The Personal Possessions of Men is a short story thriller taking place in the 1990s, following three characters as they make small talk, learn sinister secrets about each other and argue over various philosophical and personal dilemmas.

SPOILER DESCRIPTION:
A killer, a waitress and a police officer sit at a diner, making small talk. The manipulative killer attempts to conceal his identity, the lively waitress tells of her encounters with the extraterrestrial, and the cruel-hearted officer searches for a killer that is right in front of him.

The musical tracks attached to each story part are not at all integral to the story, they function more like end credit music. In short, you can skip the music entirely.

In terms of general writing quality, the story is a bit dated. However I'd still recommend reading it.

This is called a "Prototype" because this is the first draft of a story that is probably going to be completed/expanded upon in the future.
