After 7 difficult years, Alyssa Carter gets a job opportunity that she couldn't resist. She didn't realize that her taking this job opportunity would bring up heartbreak from the past all over again.

Twenty five year old Boston Bruins star Blake Maddison can be described in two words: arrogant and selfish. Blake changed for the worse since high-school he is no longer, sweet, compassionate, and DEFINITELY does NOT do relationships. He's an Antagonizer, womanizer, and an extremely famous left winger for the Boston Bruins. He has a vision for his future, that no one can change, but what happens when Alyssa Carter comes to Boston. Will he start thinking about Alyssa again, and remember everything in high school before he left? With his eyes on Alyssa will he start losing his focus, and ultimately his contract?

Alyssa moves away from her hometown of Lakebridge, California to Boston, Massachusetts, to work at the most prestigious journalism agency on the whole East Coast. Alyssa makes a promise to herself to focus on her job and on herself, will she stay true to her promise when she sees Blake after 7 years? Will she let him in?

The 7 years they were apart changed them for the good and the worse. Will they rekindle old relationships? What will happen when they lay eyes on each other again?
