Life sucks.
Being a high school student in the last year of her life in hell, that seemed to be the only way to think. Wake up, shower, school, eat, sleep, repeat. An endless cycle nearly impossible to break away from.
Being more than a little laid back and lazy, Alex liked not having a hectic life and it had never been what she'd wanted. Making it through college was her next step and then an easy life was right around the corner of doing what she loved.
Receiving a necklace from her grandmother was only the first step, but, as you'd expect, things progressed from there. An unfortunate, unexpected, and dreaded twist appears in her life, taking her places way out of her comfort zone and beyond any heights she expected to reach.
Adding on, the arrival of a certain male she can't seem to stand and constant attacks from creatures she wishes would never be in her nightmares...
