November 1975. Neal and Peter's abduction to a distant planet leads to the unmasking of a secret conspiracy. Neal learns the truth about who he is. Arkham Files story #4. Sequel to The Crypt.

In Arkham Files, White Collar characters are fused into the world of the Cthulhu Mythos. No prior knowledge of either White Collar or Lovecraft is required. Although Lovecraft is a master of the horror genre, in Arkham Files the emphasis is on science fiction and fantasy with a generous sprinkling of romance.

First names are the same as in White Collar. Neal Caffrey is known as Neal Carter. Peter Burke is Peter Gilman. In addition to Neal and Peter, White Collar characters include Diana, Mozzie, Elizabeth, June, Sara, Jones, and Hughes. Neal and Sara are both a few years younger than their New York counterparts.

The series is a meta work with the stories referenced in the Caffrey Conversation series. It's not necessary to read the Caffrey Conversation stories beforehand, but for readers who do, there is an added dimension. More information about the meta aspect is on my blog, Penna Nomen & Silbrith Conversation.

Disclaimer: This story is for fun. I do not own White Collar or the world of the Cthulhu Mythos.

April Fools' Day is just around the corner, but ancient sea monsters are no laughing matter. March 2006. Travel: Cambridge, Massachusetts. This story takes place after the events in Progress of Love (Caffrey Conversation series) and Voodoo Remoulade (Crossed Lines series). My White Collar stories are set in the Caffrey Conversation universe created by Penna Nomen. In that world, Neal Caffrey--expert forger, thief, and con artist--is recruited by Special Agent Peter Burke to work for him at the FBI. Neal begins his new life in December 2003 when he is twenty-three years old. Unlike the TV series, Neal was never convicted of a crime and didn't serve time in prison. Penna Nomen is the creator and chief muse of the series. She is also my writing partner. The complete list of Caffrey Conversation stories is on our blog, Penna Nomen & Silbrith Conversation. This story is for fun. I don't own the rights to the White Collar TV series.
