For a moment they both said nothing. It looked late, everywhere was cloudy and a gigantic moon covered half of the sky. Everywhere looked empty, dry, imaginary. They were both seated on a bench, One was dashingly handsome with nice features but still looked ordinary. Humanly. But the other one was different, with gigantic white wings covering her back, Beautiful? yes, amazingly beautiful, with her long red hair and beautiful long red gown. But possessed a very powerful dark Aura. "Let me save you" She faced him this time, no longer in her thoughts holding his rough hands gently. "Running to a pretty demon for help.... ehhh I'm not sure about that" he replied jokingly as he couldn't help but caress her soft cheeks. "I don't know if you are here to save me or destroy me, but I will trust you" "I'm not sure about that too Alex, but let's give it a try" He nodded then disappeared into thin air. "Trust?" She couldn't help but mumble to herself, as tears could be seen slowly sliding down her cheeks, And her wings gradually changing to its original color, Black. Then he woke up. The Betrayal
"Light up my darkness," he murmured against her bare flesh. His fingers trailed up her arm, leaving a blazing fire beneath them. His lips pressed softly against her shoulder and her eyes fluttered closed, accepting his touch. "Let go and I'll take away all of the pain." She desperately wanted to free herself from the torture of the heat, of the shift, of the sadness, but she pushed his firm chest away from her. She yearned to finally fulfill her place among the divine. She desired to guide and protect the species. She wished to eliminate the Challengers. The longer she endured the pain, the more power she would attain to help her fulfill her responsibilities. To the men who watched her ascend, it looked as if she was interacting with thin air, but she knew he was there with her. She smiled softly at him, caressing his cheek. Being trapped inside one place most of your life is suffocating. So I took it upon myself to go behind my mother's back every chance I got to leave. I never thought that one day I would be caught. My mother agrees to let me go to school with the neighboring pack's alpha. She only agreed to prove to me that was a monster to other species. To her a Vampire demon should never be left unattended. She may be right most of the times. This time I think my mother could be wrong. Mother doubted me only to be proved wrong. I can coexist with wolves, I've been doing it for years. Now the humans. They are tempting for a hybrid like me. I can push past their tempting blood for 8 hours each day. The thing is I might not want to but I can. Life just keep throwing obstacles my way. Now I have a beloved. An extremely tempting beloved. My demon loves the taste of blood. I'm weak and broken, tormented by monsters that keep reaching for me, touching my body, hurting me, living marks on my skin and soul. I don't know how it feels to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night sweating, incapable of defending myself, too afraid to scream for help. Until I meet him. He is strong enough to cast away the nightmares, to fight my demons scaring them away, to erase my scars with his tender touch. He teaches me to fight back, to be strong, to scream for help because now there is someone always coming to my rescue. Because now I have someone who loves me. Now I have him, my beautiful warrior, my soulmate, my leelen. We might not have met like normal people would, but again we are not normal and we are definitely not people. Even so our bond is stronger than anything and anyone. But finding my leelan is not the end of my story, it's just the beginning...Complete
