Hello! I am UK student at College (16-18) that studied Classical Civilization (or also referred to as Ancient History) at A-Level who discovered that the way in which we as an audience view the Classical world is not really the reality of it. In light of this, I thought it would be a good idea to help those who wish to get into the course or just want to know what it is about through a guide. Here I will touch upon the customs, views, mythology, religion and societies of the Ancient world- mainly focusing around Greece and parts of Rome. Disclaimer: I am a UK student and have only just finished the course. This means I am not a fully educated or degree level scholar/ historian but I am doing this at University. This means I will only touch upon the things I know that I did in my A-Level course, not every aspect of the Ancient world.

*For fans of Percy Jackson, Greek/Roman mythology and epic historical battles* "In hindsight, knocking someone out with a thousand year old artefact was probably not a good idea." After a run in with her ex sends her catapulting into the past, Adelaide has to navigate the battles she studied in real life, while posing as several historical figures such as Octavia; Octavian of Romes' sister. With the overhanging threat of perpetual reincarnation thanks to the egotistical sun-god Apollo, Adelaide struggles to deal with moral dilemmas about changing the fate of doomed soldiers and finding her way back to her correct time. *I wrote this book as part of my EPQ for school and it is by no means perfect due to the small time frame I had to write it, but I thought I would post it here anyway!*
