This poem I wrote after battling some suicidal ideations. I thought that I would share it here in the hopes that maybe it will help someone else to feel a little better. The world and life can be tough. Please remember that you are loved and you deserve to be here.

The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides. I there is anything that I want you to take from this book, is time. Yes, just a word, time. It goes by, so have not regrets, and never leave something from saying. Petals of my moonflower
Red isn't always romance, sometimes it's blood, Moon isn't always for lovers, but sometimes for secret cries, Flowers aren't always for marriage, but sometimes for grave, Petals aren't always soft, sometimes they prick the soul. No plagiarism/No hatred plz. Also some things might contain mature contents like self harm. I want to say those kinds of suicidal poems are not to inspire anyone to self harm. Terrans are not the strongest species in the universe. They are not the fastest species. They are most definitely not the smartest. But Terrans are the loneliest, willing to befriend anything that moves and several things that don't. After humanity nearly made themselves extinct with a "Terran brand oopsie"™, trillions of Terrans awaken from stasis and set themselves upon a Galaxy teeming with alien life, each writing their own story among the stars. Stories of compassion, of anger, of revenge, of justice. Stories of the clever and stories of the downright stupid. But mostly the story of Terrans looking for the one thing that all beings desire: Friendship amongst a lonely universe.
