Golden blood

Four ordinary people, all from different places and backgrounds all share something in common, something that isn't so ordinary.

Penelope Dennis lives with her mother Margo and her stepdad Norman Dennis in Alaska. Penelope was given the nickname Poppy, after the fact she has a special talent of making people fall asleep. Her birth father died in a house fire before she was born, or so she was told.

Raven Vargas lives in queens with her mother who expects too much out of her. Ravens father left before she was born and she never questioned it, she always too focused on school or sports. Raven from a young age always saw things out of the corner of her eyes, but it wasn't until she grew up and the things she saw weren't humans, nor alive.

Soleil DeGarmo lives with her single mother Danica DeGarmo in Chicago. Her mother is an immigrant from France. She was told all her life that her father is a "dump" and was never around. From a young age, Soleil was very good at building things, taking things apart and putting them back together. She has a talent with her hands.

Naia Stone lives with her father Phil Stone. They moved around a lot because of Phil's job, but landed in Ireland when Naia was fifteen. Naias father is rarely ever around because of his job, and she got used to being alone. Naia has always had men, and women, falling at her feet over the moon for her. She never understood why, and takes it more as a curse than a blessing.
