Track-Runner Persephone finds herself challenged when she suddenly loses the younger brother of her best friend at his birthday party. Responsible for taking care of him, she runs off to find the upset boy whom she suspects has hidden himself in an amusement park he really wanted to visit.

Along the way, she encounters strange monsters, strange visions of the world and even stranger phenomena about the image of a clown she keeps seeing.

Persephone quickly learns that perhaps not all is what it seems, and that maybe she has a deeper connection to the amusement park than she thought.
