Dark and light have always been at odds with one another, each energy naturally overshadowing the other. When mankind is imbued with the natural ability to wield these energies, two distinctly different cultures begin to form.

The light faction is imperialistic, conquering any land that they see. Any inhabitants wielding dark energy are aggressive, vile, angry people that massacre their enemies on sight. The only person who can balance them, the Altreian, seems to be missing.

After hundreds of years of fighting, the two factions ultimately settle various colonies around the world, with their supernatural abilities fading over time.

Many years pass, and the ancient brutes of history are trampled over by the modern people of the 1980's world, a far more advanced society than the primitive, energy worshipping people of the past...

Or so they say.

Commander James, the head of a worldwide energy based organization known only as The Army, is thrust into a world he isn't entirely prepared for when he receives a letter from a complete stranger.

The fifteen year old Commander is assigned the most important task that any man could ever be given in their lifetime; a task that, if failed, could lead to his ultimate demise.

Commander James is tasked with defending the reincarnated Altreian, the only man alive who is capable of wielding both dark and light energy.

This new Altreian seems to be more knowledgeable than anyone James has met in his life, yet there's something about him that the young Commander just can't seem to shake. Regardless, the two men set off on a journey to right the wrongs of the darkness and restore balance to the world, whether the two factions are ready for it or not.
