Oak Parks is Alana's home. When she is forced to visit her father, divorced from her mother, she ends up staying for the next three weeks until Christmas. Her father has a small connection, if any, with Alana, and he's determined to change that. When that turns into a huge disaster, just wait until Christmas comes along.
During this whole trip, there's not much action. Except when she loses a video game to a jock, gets a phone call in class, gets the newest generation phone, and has to go on a scavenger hunt to find her best friend Grace. Overall, it's a crazy Christmas in Oak Parks this year.
