After years in Okinawa, Japan Cameron moves to America and stayed with the LaRusso's. Daniel LaRusso was like a father figure at this point since Daniel and Kumiko go way back, he had seen them quite a bit over the years, Sam and Cameron had become quite close but since Kumiko died he had instinctively cut himself off from the world until he knew I had to do something with his life rather than just flush it all down the drain until it was too late.
