Authers note:
The change in perspective is to a beast, with a child like mentality and children won't explain a process as well as an adult would. Children tend to describe things they find interesting or relevant to what they are trying to say. Subject 3117 has only been self-aware for seven years, when the story takes place and due to being locked up, 3117 would only have the mentality of around six years-old. This also explains his strong connection to danny. 3117 thinks o danny as a parental figure. As the subject had been alone for several years, so it has bonded with the first kind person it came into contact with due to its longing for another. Being isolated for even a short time with nothing to do and no one to talk to, would make anyone want someone by there side.

Lily, not knowing what really happened to her parents, and not understanding at all, she decides to take things into her own hands. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by another girl with her little comments every now and again.Complete

They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do.
