A swim gone wrong causes my twin sister to begin to fear the water. She barely even touches it. I went missing when it happened, everyone thinks I drowned, and died. I did drown, or rather I started to, but then a bright light shown down on me during a full moon and turned me into a mermaid, one drop and 10 secs later a tail. I love it! This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
