XiCheng: The Art of Whelving

Jiang Cheng knows what it's like to be crushed. He's spent his whole life picking up the shattered pieces- always trying to glue the splintered shards of glass into something vaguely resembling a heart. He's been hurt over and over and over again- the same people trampling over him time and time again. And contrary to popular belief- Jiang Cheng is not in fact- some infallible statue or stone of a man. He's just like the rest of them- a real person with real emotions and a real heart. But being the fearsome Sandu Shengshou- he's forced to live in a constant cycle of betrayal and heartbreak at every turn.

So it really comes as no surprise when the man he loved for over a decade- the man he bore two children for- the man that Jiang Wanyin adored with every fiber of his being- THAT man- ends up lying to him for the better part of the decade.

In all honestly- he should've seen this coming. Nie Huaisang has always loved his revenge. And Jiang Cheng should've known that whatever love the young alpha harbored for him- would pale in comparison to promises of vengeance and retaliation.

But Jiang Cheng is tired.

He just wants to rest.

Unfortunately for him- Lan Xichen has other plans.
