The Last Lesson

A story about Olive Moon, who was once a teacher, suddenly became a nurse overnight.

Struggling to keep up with her nursing studies, and not trying to punch Blaze for being a jerk and a hot guy at the same time, she made the impulse choice to join the union program. A program where you get assigned a male or female partner to have babies and get married with.

Why did she join? Because she wanted to help end the war without blood, sweat, and tears. She wanted a peaceful and humane ending for this war.

But that was the complete opposite from what Blaze Evans believed personally.

Along the way we also start to get the perspective side of things from Blaze. Who he himself has struggles. He never wanted to be a leader in the first place, but with the world nearly deserted from humans, and with the war coming to no end, he had no choice but to lead people into safety, while also preparing them for the final war that may or may never come.

The last thing they both expected to happen in their lives was to get partnered together for the union program. Leaving them no choice but to try and get along together for the sake of the program, for the sake of humanity, even if their beliefs clash too much.
