Lore has built up over the ages about creatures that live in the ocean, creatures of startling beauty, with the upper body of women, and the tails of fish. But what if these creatures were different from what we thought they were? What would happen when one of them needs help? Seeking out the aid of a teenage boy, who is more involved in their world than he knows. When Alex wakes up in the hospital, ranting about a girl and water, he is assured that his hallucinations were a side effect to almost drowning, and he was unconscious for nearly two days. He is released from the hospital, and life seems like it should return to normal...but he's still haunted by his "hallucinations" He still knows what he saw was real. He saw a shadow at the water's edge.

I have always loved the water. My family has always been near water. My uncle was a an oceanographer which had me interested in what he does. It was always seeming so mysterious, what lies beneath, what is under. Being a lover of the sea, my family has owned a villa near the beach and I found my self visiting quiet often. Until my uncle had given me a birthday party on a boat owned by my family. That is until that night my life had changed when I accidentally slip into the waters slowly sinking down under. From that day of, I had saw things differently which had me even more curious on to what lies beneath our feet. Until her that is, that life, my life as we know it had changed. If I tell people, would they believe me but then again I wanted this to be kept a secret, my secret, my little secret. ---Warning not intended for 18 and under---strong mature sexual language----

Somethings lurking far out in the waters are best left alone, though sometimes one gets a bit curious of what might be just below the waters surface and if you are that person make sure you know it might be a one way trip because you might not make it back to shore alive...

Pirates are cool right? Well, this is kinda a prequel to my game that I'm making at school, except like a thousand times more serious. Who also doesn't love a bit of mythology? Especially Pirate Mythology. Well, you'd better hope you aren't cursed, have the Black Spot or are a lost sailor. Enjoy.

"You're a what.?" He asked in disbelief. "I'm a mermaid. That's why I brought you here. To the place where I became one." I explained. "Avery, I don't believe you." He shook his head and started for the exit. A tear rolled down my cheek. After everything we've been through, he doesn't believe me.? "I can prove it.." I slowly turned to the water. He turned around and stared at me. "Then do it." He crossed his arms. I jumped into the water and felt the transformation happen. I rose to the surface to find him staring at me. He smiled at me and began to laugh. Read my story to find out what happens next.!

Sirens are described as the most hauntingly beautiful and dangerous beings of the sea. They are rumored to lure sailors with their hypnotising songs. Ever wondered why? Our story begins in a small coastal town nestled between mountains and the shimmering, endless ocean. There, a young woman by the name of Marina resides. Marina's tale doesn't start as a Legend, Myth, or Fairytale, but as a rumor. Known for her celestial beauty and captivating voice, her destiny is not one she chose but rather one that was forced upon her.

What we love about the Myths and mythical creatures. They are a great read and enjoyed by all. They may be twists on what you may think you know. Or it may be exactly what you think. Each being or creature is unique and special.
