This is just a story I had to write for a thing. Personally, I like it, it's relatively short, has Undertale vibes, and talks about the joy children bring to the world even though I hate children! I'm good with them, I just hate them. Also, a few parts aren't entirely descriptive (especially towards the end because thats when I got sick and had to wrap things up quickly) because I was on a time limit.

we both love the outsiders and johnnyboy so why not write oneshots about them?! the au we're going to mostly be using is that they're living in our time (still the same setting). here's some details about it: β€’ ages: darry - 23, soda - 19, pony - 17, johnny - 16, dally - 20, steve - 20, two-bit - 21 and a half. (we upped everyone's ages by 3 except johnny, because we originally upped pony's by 3. so we made it fair) β€’ dally lives alone with his two puppers :') their names are booper (a sheltie + corgi mix) and waffle (a dachshund)! (he's a college drop out, but has a paying job) β€’ darry is a college graduate and has a job that he loves. soda, steve, and two bit are still in college and are living with their families. β€’ pony and johnny are, of course, in high school. β€’ everyone's families are the same. (except maybe the fact that their parents are willing to pay for school. idk if they don't in the book) β€’ everyone's personalities are the same.
