Joshua is a squire for the Order of the White Hawks, which was organized by Devon Langdon to fight against the heathens that plague the Earth. But information strikes Josh, revealing Langdon, and many other nobles to be demons, who plan to start the apocalypse earlier.
Though he rejects this idea at first. The distraction of the Hawks from major raids causes Josh to question his superiors. Along with being blackmailed by his fellow knights, he takes up arms against the nobility in hopes to change what the demons have planned.
