It was the perfect and simple love story. But perfection is an illusion and life is not simple.

Charlotte Maria Scott and James River Knight had known each other all their lives. Their grandfathers were friends and business partners, their fathers were best friends, and their mothers became 'sisters from another mother'(s) soon after they met each other. The two of them grew up together as best friends from the diaper days and eventually fell in love.

But what happens when five years into dating and James leaves Charlotte; blaming her of things she'd never do.
