As the world was celebrating a new year, a heavy mist then made its appearance on every nations' shores shocking multiple governments and scientists on this new phenomena.
As every nation gears up for what could be WW3, something unexplainable just happened.

"Are there any other civilizations in the west?" Pres. Daniel asked.
"There are at least 15 other civilizations located in our west, and there's more, a massive portal recently opened off the coast of Hawaii." The Secretary of Defense said.
"A portal?! Jesus, why does this keep happening?" He muttered.
"About that, after the portal opened, a fleet of wooden ships were sighted to have men that were armed with swords, bows, and monsters of varying degree." The Secretary of Defense said.
"Monsters?"

Additionally, there are a number of dark, powerful figures known as Reapers who have ascended to a higher level of power due to having a hefty kill count. All odds appear to be against Rex and his squad. Can he defeat the military? Will Lever leave the military and fight for the other side? Can the effects of Dark Mist be reversed?Complete

After 2 major wars against two galactic superpowers, and the Garmillas refugee crisis of 2205, Japan, a part of the Earth Federation, now is seeing true peace. The rebuilding process is happening smoothly, with cooperation between citizens from all walks of life, between the Garmillian refugees and Terrans, and even the famous Shinkansen Maglev system is also rebuilt. However, one day, the people on the land of Japan woke up to a foreign sight. No known constellation, familiar stars, the moon, and neighboring landmass could be detected. Facing them is a planet of unknown, magic, and of possibility. Facing the crisis of transference, the people united once more, and again, the name Japan is re-recognized as a country. Her diplomatic corps is sent out on the rebuilt Japan Cosmo Navy ships, heading toward unknown lands, and contacting the nations of the new world. The politic of the new world however is a quagmire full of arrogance, hostility, and imperialism. "If diplomacy fails, then defend ourselves, we must" - proclaimed the newly appointed provisional PM of Japan, Heikuro Todo. The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS by Minorou and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh. The man who discovered it decided to make the metallic liquid into arrows. He then buried them underneath his homeland and in the year 2000, it was eventually discovered and monstrous beings called "Klaxosaurs" begin appearing. The arrows were a sign of hope as when exposed to the air, it chose which people to grant powers from. A visual manifestation of life energy to the user. Ordinary people cannot see it, but people who were granted with these powers can see it. It could not be harm by ordinary things, only other special people can hurt it. This was known as a Stranxx, and people who were granted these powers used it to kill the infestation of Klaxosaur. Some used it for good, some used it for bad but they didn't know that there would be a school just to train your Stranxx and fight Klaxosaurs. Thus we focus on our main protagonist, Hiro. He is Stranxxless but he has a dream, and that dream is to be known as the #1 Hero that destroys Klaxosaurs in one swoop. So he thinks that the program will help him fight the Klaxosaurs.
