inspired from my own experience of a severely toxic abusive relationship recently, i decided to write my own story using poetry to inspire all those who are unfortunately going through toxic relationships and make sure they know they aren't alone.

yet i saw them as blessings in disguse

as flaws."

Turned my life into art
My collection of poems in the past three years which leads to character development. Realistic incidents, illusionary love, hardships, it's quite a journey. Some say I'm unique and some say I'm Raw. Some say my work is relatable and some feel they can relate. That's crazy though, makes me want to be heard. I was quiet as feathers basically my whole life, closed up, antisocial, lost. "You should have told me before that you weren't interested in me" I yelled at my so called husband Samad. Tears were rolling down my cheeks. "Jawariyah please try to understand" Samad said but this time I won't. "From two years only I am trying to understand..... Only I am the one who's compromising... Why not you?" I questioned him. Worth It
So many time, victims of toxic relationships are made to believe that their pain is the norm in all relationships. So many times it takes years for them to actually realize the truth and another few years to escape that toxic relationship. And when they escape, they need someone to hold them and teach them their real worth again. To tell them that they are worth more than the pain and abuse. Our little Ming experiences a similar thing.
