The Wyvern Series Book One

When a half-human half-alder child reaches the age of six they are fetched by a knight of The Unbroken Circle to be trained to be a Jade Guard, a knight immune to magic trained to used their gift to protect the inhabitants of the Republic from the harm magic can do.

Rhian's younger brother, Howell, is one such child. When Howell is fetched Rhian ends up going along as well and it is soon discovered that she is half alder as well and possesses an ability that could make her a valuable asset to the Republic and a threat to its enemies if she survives all the training and challenges required to earn her shield bearing the jade wyvern crest.All Rights Reserved
