Rewritten Worthy I've decided to turn this into a three parter considering I can not focus on one at a time. Time lapsed from events in Thor into Avengers with an alternate timeline. Loki believed his actions were justified in the beginning. if you see him as the protagonist in his own story you can't help but feel bad for him. What was he supposed to do in his situation. He handled it like a king would, not that it made his actions justified. Deep down he wanted to prove himself to Odin. In the end the truth hurt, denied by his foster father and haven slayed his true father. He knew he could never be one of them. So he fell to oblivion, there was no erasing who he really was. Loki didn't ask to be saved. He refused to be a puppet, but that was short lived. They tortured him and exploiting his weaknesses. It would only be a matter of time before that monster forced him to pursue the cube.

He had always been unhappy, for as long as he can remember. Those he trusted lied to him, those he loved had left him. He was always the misunderstood one. But yet, she followed him around like a lost puppy; not knowing where that could lead her. He found her strange, yet he never pushed her away. He found her annoying, yet he never told it to her face. He believed that she was someone who was insignificant to him, and therefore it did not matter whether she followed him or not. It did not matter that she told him she cared. It was all an illusion, he ascertained. Sadly, by the time he learned the truth, it was far too late for changes. That there were no more illusions, only missed chances.
