Katherine Step, or Katy, has a talent for stealing and picking locks. Unfortunately, she has to use her talents to survive, on her own. She rarely gets caught, thankfully, due to the fact that she also has a talent for easily slipping into the shadows. One day, she gets teleported into a room with Notch, thinking he knows about her stealing goods. But, strangely, he asks her if she would like to go on a quest, that sends her off to reunite the members of Team Crafted, who all left a year ago. She agrees, discovering that their personalities have been changed A LOT. Getting them back together might be harder than it seemed to be...
(This takes place in Minecraft, just everything isn't blocky.)

He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. Dream struggles to fight off Nightmare who is taking over him, making him hurt those he loves and kill. At first he convinces himself he's being destructive and evil for George, so that George will never be in danger and could do what he wants but it is soon made clear Dream is not the one making the decisions over his own actions. Set as if Minecraft was real with canon lives. Occasional Sapnap POV and George POV. A lot of dialogue for the first chapters was taken from several streams but after that it is made up including the story. Songs are incorporated but don't need to be listened to, to read.
