This isn't related to this story but, Hi i'm Kate. this is my first fully written story, though its only a short story i'm very proud of myself for fully committing to one theme and finishing it. This short story is very over dramatic and complicated because its my first story but I hope you enjoy. Description: "What are your summer plans?" My teacher asks the class. My classmates respond with the basic responses, vacation, beach, and hanging out with friends. I respond with vacation, but I don't even want to go to Orange County. It's not too far from where I live, but Sana Cruz and OC is a long drive. The bell rings, that means it's summer, that means I have to spend a whole summer away and with my dad, but my friends and I have plans to go have a bonfire at the peer tonight so at least ill have that before I leave all summer.

The cold air from the hallway seeps through my already wet cold clothes, making me shiver. I'm almost at the end of the hallway when I see a door on my left. I stop and stand in front of it. I place my hand on the doorknob and twist it open. I let my eyes adjust to the darkness, finally I see what's in the room. A scream of terror erupts from my throat. My body freezes itself as I stare at the hanged corpse of one of my friends.--------------------Think about this: What do you think will happen when 100 passengers crash land on an abandoned island and only 8 survive. And what they don't know is that the island has its own secrets....secrets that can kill.

Hello! This is a story I wrote a few years ago when I was 11/12. It is not the best written at the start but I didn't want to edit it (it gets better as my writing improves). It involves a school trip where the plane crashes, killing the pilot and landing them on a tropical island. Some parts are cringy and give me second-hand embarrassment, but you'll just have to experience the pain too! Hope you like it :)

But seriously, this book contains a lot of toxic stuff so if you're going to read it just be aware. Also I wrote this when I was like 12 soooo yikes but that also means I was writing about things that I had no real knowledge of. Please educate yourself and if I do ever decide to rewrite this cursed book I will be sure to acknowledge some more of the things in this story that are a bit too much.
