"The Withered Flower Shows How Scorching The Sun Is."

The pastel pinkish-red flower that once bloomed and danced with wind, captivated the eyes of many and warmed numerous hearts, was now hanging low with traces of dark black color in it's thin dried petals which once used to be luscious and thick. The rose which used to stand upright without any support ultimately gave up in front of the mighty blazing sun.

They were just like the rose. So was their relationship. They bloomed, they danced, they flourished but in front of the cruel societal norms, they withered. The rose withered, as every single petal fell loose on the mud just like their every ray of hope fell loose. Ultimately, the last petal swayed with the wind and fell on the brownish black mud, leaving the flower with dried pistil...the memories.

Destiny watched the flower shrivel and with guilt and tears picked up the scattered petals, stalk, leaves and loving placed them in it's book. It decided to turn the tables and make them meet again. And years later, they met.

But does a withered flower join back?
Will it be lively again?
