The Fall of Garrag Moch Monastery,  Year 1180 had been a disaster and full of the unexpected. But lets follow a different flow in the time stream. In this alternate timeline the Blue Lions had witnessed their beloved professor fall from the gorge, struck down by an unknown foe. Frightened and desperate, they some how manage to get away and arrive at the bottom of the gorge. There, by some miracle, Byleth is found alive! In an effort to keep her safe Dimitri takes her home and into his family's care. But what happens when the young prince is forced to run for his life? Just how different would Dimitri be during those five years?

For her own sake, her life would continue on, especially now that she had become enlightened by Claude's presence. However, it doesn't take him long to figure out something is wrong with his new instructor. Claude promises to stand by her side, and help her. Inspired by this new hope, Byleth and Claude must race against time to find a cure before her clock runs out.
