A political demonic uprising is coming and no one really knows how to deal with it. So, Marc does whatever he thinks should be done, he brings information to the "opposing" team.

Carlie Mikaelson lives her life floating by everything; she's got a secure job that gives her more than enough money to do whatever she wants, but she gets bored easily. When she decides to visit some guy in regards to information he might have on a secret civilization, she's all up for it. What she wasn't up for was the idea of demons.

Now, we have a higher status demon alongside a smart yet completely defenceless (against demons) young adult who has no idea what she's up against. Additionally, there's a cocky yet completely attractive demon who's side is still yet to be confirmed, and there's also something else. Why are all the demons so desperate to get their hands on Carlie? After all, she's just some defenceless human, isn't she?
