Lucie's Little

Lucie is a police officer who works much more than she should. She picks up extra shifts even though she doesn't need the money. She's been walking the Earth like a sleepless zombie ever since her most recent breakup. She felt as if she had lost her purpose in the world and now had so much free time. So, she suffocated herself with work in hopes of filling the hole in her heart and time.
Instead of helping, it seemed to be making her feel worse. She was running off of coffee and sleepless nights. She needed something else to fill the gap in her life. That's when she came across the idea of taking in a little.
Lucie always felt the need to take care of others, and she loved the idea of having a little. The idea warmed her heart, and she knew that she wanted to do it. There was one big obstacle, though. She didn't know how to get one.
Then she came across this girl named Dixie. she was the cutest little thing on this planet, in Lucies eyes. Lucie could tell from the moment she laid eyes on her that she was a little, and it excited her. She knew that this was her chance and she probably won't get another one like this. Lucie thought of it as destiny.
