***After reading some other werewolf fantasies, I wrote this story because I was craving for a strong lead female character that kicks ass. When I tried to imagine her, this story just popped up in my head. I'm aware it might not be to everyone's taste, but if at least one person besides me likes it, I feel that my mission is complete.

The Hybrid
I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! My blue eyes fumed in anger as my wolf was released. I am a white wolf. Liam's eyes bulged as he saw my true form. He then smiled ready to fight. I lunged for the bastard, knocking him to the ground. His other minions rushed towards me all attaching me at once. I attempted to fight against them. They kept coming on me and it was becoming too much for me to handle. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl. "Mate", and my heart stops. ------------ Alexandra's pack is mercilessly destroyed by werewolves most hated species: vampires. The species has hated each other since the beginning of time. So the usual werewolf story consists of an alpha finding his mate, before they both end up facing some type of tragedy. And then, they have their perfect happily ever after. In the meantime while the Alpha finds his usual innocent but breathtaking mate, it is as if the rest of the pack's lives have been put on hold. I mean as long as the alpha and Luna are living in satisfaction who gives a crap about the people who helped contribute to make sure they're happy. What about the Beta who usually has to drop whatever he has going on to assist the Alpha to protect his mate? What about the members of the pack who are ranked lowest, because of what? Genes? Everyone is designed to have their mate by the moon goddess? No! By God! But when it comes to the Alpha's mate no one else's mate matters. I guess what I'm trying to say is since when did we start playing follow the leader we're not just wolves we are so much more than that we are werewolves.
