It's set in the time where Wei Wuxian and the others were in Cloud Recessess for their studies.
Wei Ying gets injured. REAL BAD. 
But Wei Ying, being Wei Ying, not wanting to create an "unnecessary" fussing over his "simple" (not so simple) injury and disruption in Grandmaster Lan's lecture, keeps his cool and maintains a straight face, while his wound worsens.
Will the other's and specially Lan Wangji, notice his hidden pain before it's too late? 

hey guys! I just had this VERY weird idea of a short story about a MDZS plot, so I had decided to write it up! hope you guys like it! 

And please note, that Wei Ying won't rlly have the chance of loosing his golden core, and other stuff will not be taking place with THIS flow of the story, because... (SPOILER ALERT) ... Lan zhan and Wei Ying will OR Will not be ending up together at the end of the book.
