This 500 word very short story is for the #panic contest, it's a non-fiction about overcoming my current life's biggest hurdle, it's what broke me and what I'm slowly working on figuring out. 

My mother told me only but recently "I thought that if I could get up everyday for work, and feed my children, that it wouldn't affect you guys." But how painfully wrong she was.

This story was SO hard to write in 500 words, the whole thing typed out was close to 1000 so I really had to cut back and real in a lot of stuff, I hope it's still good and I would appreciate any and all feed back! Remember to drink water and I love you and I'm so proud of you, I see how hard you're working and trying, and don't forget how much u matter <3

I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. Personally, I never saw myself as an optimistic person. I never really had any friends, I didn't share feelings for people, I never really had any social life whatsoever. My life was always boring. Especially when I was younger. My parents were sucked up alcoholics, we never had the money to do anything due to my mom quitting her job and my dad being a selfish prick. Though, I'm now an adult; 18 years old. No longer in school. I have job at Walmart as a nightshift stocker; my mother's friend gave me the job. It's summer, so I'm not working as much. I have a small friend group, containing people of 4. Me including, Nathan, Carly, and Dalton. We've known each other since early middle school. I, Kyle, have known Carly and Dalton since grade school. It is rolling up to be Summer. Us 4, have decided to make this Summer year the best of our lives. Join me and the others in our journey, exploring our emotions and different places. Getting into tight scenarios. Explore it through our different pov's. My Summer of Writing and Stuff by SomewhatSmartGirl

The summer of my 5th grade year, my mum made me and my sisters type a page of something everyday. She didn't care what we typed, as long as we were writing and creating something. At first, I saw it as torture, so I tried so leave as many spaces as possible in my writing to fill up the pages faster. Eventually, I started to enjoy writing the stories, and now that I look back at them (as much as I hate to admit it) it actually wasn't that bad. This book contains everything I wrote during that time, and I didn't change a single word as I transferred the stories from my computer. There aren't as many stories as you would think, because I didn't write for the entire summer, but there's quite a few. Some are short stories while others are longer, but I hope you enjoy all of them. It's quite a mess, really. And I'm not joking when I say that. (I used the Canva app to create the cover. First off, Welcome to My Life! This is a little collection of any small, short stories of things that have been frustrating me this year. It will not be update regularly, but updates will most likely happen occasionally. I know if my friends IRL are reading the first 8 stories, they would be confused about these feelings and all that, but the main reason why I didn't tell them was because I found no reason to drag them back into my own past. Also, I just needed somewhere to let it out. By the way, the ending of what I guess you call is the first "story arc" is kind of sappy, but please bare with me. ---> This however is no longer true and the only story that remains is the first one you can see. After the 8th story, it changes from angry blurb rant things to just fun happy kind of things. You'll get to hear more about my crazy awesome friends and what we do. Not sure how good those stories will turn out because I suck at writing about real life stories, but, by all means, enjoy! By the way, the highest rating I ever had in Non-Fiction was #83 on May 20, 2015! If you can help boost me up there again, I would love that!
