One perhaps 'fateful' night. If you could even call it that. 28 year old Lucile just happened to be up too late one night. She dismissed the odd shadows her weary eyes were making until her dog, Bones starts barking like no tomorrow. It was then she realized someone, more so something, broke into her house. With a few swings of a bat and a switch of the lights, a floating boy that calls himself Mars stands before her. He claims that they are now bound together for a year by the rules of Purgatory and there isn't any way to back out of it. Things start out bumpy, but Lucile and Mars learn to live with each other. Now, its just a countdown to the end of the year.

As mentioned in the title, This is an original story I'm creating. No, this isn't fanfiction and this isn't any adaptations of stories already existing. There will most likely be references to names or brands, but other than that its completely from my brain.
At first, I originally made this story out of pure boredom and the extra chaotic energy in my system. I had the idea for this story since December of 2020 and just recently(August of '21) I decided that I wanted to take this seriously and create an actual story that one day I could publish.
Putting my story here on Wattpad is kinda acting like my first step to creating something out of this idea of mine. I hope whoever starts reading this little journey enjoys themself and has fun with it. Thank you and I appreciate you. :)

Without warning it began! The inevitable, I think it's fair to assume this book is not in my possession. This means I'm most likely dead.
