After the Sunshot Campaign had ended, everyone wanted to believe that there would be peace once more. However, it seems like a new threat is emerging in the Burial Mounds.
Lan Wangji sets off to investigate it and he finds out more than he had expected.

"It's a Wei Ying and Lan Zhan story. The idea is that instead of being saved by the Jiang Fengmian, Wei Ying grew up on the streets a little longer and pretty much turned feral since no one treated him like a person. And eventually Cloud Recesses and the other Clans get a message from the town that Wei Ying was in to remove him because he had started to cause too much trouble since he was older. At some point the only one that can calm Wei Ying down and teach him to be human is Lan Zhan."
