You live in New Orleans Louisiana. You're 19 years old and starting a new job while getting your GED. You left public school in 10th grade due to extreme bullying and finished through home schooling. You have a homeschool diploma but wanna get a GED since most work places prefer a public highschool diploma or GED over a homeschool diploma. You just got your driver license and have an old white 2002 Chevy 4wheel drive truck you bought used from an old man who was saleing it personally. In school from Kindergarten-10th grade you were heavily bullied because of your weight seeing as you were a chubby kid all your life. You were always made fun of for being short and chubby or fat as kids called you. Even though you were extremely smart and got great grades a lot of kids made fun of you saying you were stupid,fat,ugly,worthless etc...All you have is your family. Your family always supports you and tries to make you happy. Your family loves you deeply but other than that you don't exactly have good friends and the guy your with isn't the nicest. You work at a small coffee/tea cafe for a nice woman named Charlotte. You have the evening into night shift. You work 4:45pm-midnight. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
