After the events at the end of Inkopolis Chaos 2, Samuel and friends find themselves working with the Squidbeak Splatoon. A corrupt octoling known as Lieutenant Obsidian has stepped up as the new dictator of the octarians, and is plotting the end of the inkling race, along with all the octolings who betrayed their society.
