!!This fanfic has MAJOR spoilers from Omori!! Kel is entering high school again with his friends. As little time goes on, the feelings he had for Sunny when they were younger had suddenly returned. How will he deal with these feeling? Things that should be kept in mind: This takes place in the point of view of Kel (So it is 1st person POV), this is a modernized alternative of the main story, and these events are taking place after Mari's death in the real world. (SPOILERS FOR OMORI) After the cancellation of a very important recital, Mari desperately wants to apologize to her brother, Sunny, but before she has the chance to, Sunny, Kel, Aubrey, Hero, Basil, and Mari fall into another world entirely different from anything they've seen before. As they take the time to get their bearings, they realize something: Sunny is missing. As the group tries to find Sunny, they run into older versions of themselves, who are also missing a Sunny of their own. However, there's something off about this other group... The atmosphere between these older versions is tense, and they don't seem to have a Mari of their own to calm them down. Wait, what happened to their Mari?

This story takes place after the good ending, and because of obvious reasons, Sunny will not be moving to his new house. When Kel breaks his legs in the strangest (the stairs are back bby) of ways, it's Sunny's job to take care of him, (cuz why not, i have no good ideas) and their friendship slowly blossoms into something more. (hihihiha pls enjoy this badly written fic) This is a suntan fanfic, so non shippers beware! Trigger warning: Suicide, Depressing topics, mentions of death/violence, and Omori related topics as well, and some spoilers too. I may have some spelling mistakes cuz my google docs hate me, so please notify me and ill try to fix it as fast as possible (PLEASE IM NOT READING THIS DUMPSTER FIRE OF A BOOK OVER AGAIN) this fic has like around 20000 - 30000 words so it does get worse and more badly written as you go along but meh.
