In a world where a select amount of people are born with Skills others would kill to obtain, no one is safe.
After a deadly battle gone wrong, Kieran Reviraz finds himself falling into a dangerous abyss where monstrous creatures inhabit every corner. In it, he stumbles upon a key to an ancient Artifact capable of completely flipping the world on its head. Setting out to find the Artifact, he is determined to exact revenge on the organization that had once taken everything away from him.
But the times are changing, and he must race against the clock to stay alive as danger looms closer with every step. He has a feeling that the mysterious Daemon can answer all of his questions, but does the man really have his best interests at heart? And is the deal they made really as simple as it seems?
