Evolution incarnate: (Gurren Lagann X male reader)

I recently finished watching one of the best Anime I've ever watched in my life, Gurren Lagann, a lot of people love it, But I haven't seen many reader fics about it, so Imma do myself.

(Y/N) (L/N), often called (Y/N) the outcast in his village, His background is unknown to himself due to amnesia, as one day (Y/N) had just appeared in Jeeha village after an earthquake, (Y/N) is then raised along side a timid boy named Simon and the two grow close, both looking up to their Big bro "Aniki", Kamina, 7 years later and Simon finds something while digging... A small drill and a head, no one knew what it was, though (Y/N) felt a nostalgic when he saw them, after an attack from the surface and gaining a new friend by the name of Yoko, (Y/N) felt himself be called by something, It felt familiar to him, it was the same security he felt when looking at Lagann, at some point he makes a discovery of his own, a mech... similar to a Gunmen that beastmen use, however, it was quite different and it was as though this was what was calling out to (Y/N) the whole time, perhaps, there is a connection between (Y/N) and the Gunmen

Yeah so I stuck at describing, just to give it a try to see if you like it or not.
