Devonn Redmaine has always lived his life being abused and abandoned as a faunus. From being left behind by his parents, to being abused by his adoptive father; from being abandoned by his sisters and teammates, to being used and nearly killed by a woman whom he called his mother...
Now, with a strong desire to free the oppressed and change the world, Devonn embarks on a journey towards world domination. He sets out to create a world where no one would ever have to feel the sting of oppression ever again, all while doing his best to make sure he doesn't become a monster like those who've hurt him and his people...

[This is NOT an Abused and Neglected Male reader story, this is a story about the main character getting stuck in this stereotype as Ruby.] We all know the stereotypical story by now. Y/N Rose is born into a loving family, but then as soon as tragedy befalls that family in the form of Summer Rose dying, Y/N is abused and neglected, becoming the target of the family's anger. Later on he escapes, becomes powerful, possibly teams up with Salem, gets revenge, and then things spin off from there. But what if we added something new, or more accurately... Someone who has read this story before gets reincarnated as Ruby Rose on the day she was accepted into Beacon, and decides to steal the spotlight for herself. She takes one look at her circumstances, sees that her chances of being killed are high if she doesn't play her cards right, and decides to abuse all the knowledge she has of the show to overtake Y/N's position as the most powerful being. You and your brother survived being child slaves and ran to Mantle to join the White Fang under Ghira Belladonna and his second in command, Sienna Khan. You two trained alongside Ghira's daughter, Blake. Adam changes more during adulthood and slowly becomes a monster, gone was once a caring brother now remains is a monster. You flee for Beacon academy along with Blake to train not just to help but also be strong enough to defeat Adam. Will you succeed in your journey or die by the blade of the bull Faunus and join your parents in the afterlife?
