It started out as a simple enough assignment--Help the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. old Nick Fury test a new prototype military weapon in the isolation of the New Mexico desert. Then the Nazis attacked.
Nazis?!?
After that, it gets weird. Do the Nazis have diabolical plans to alter the outcome of WWII by changing history? There's only one way for the Young Avengers to find out--travel back in time and team up with The Invaders, and strike a blow for the Allies.
All this and WWII is the first of a three-part Time Warp series starring the Young Avengers.

Despite their best efforts to regain the trust of the world, the Avengers are still met with criticism. With every move they make under close scrutiny, they find themselves treading lightly to avoid more incidents akin to Ultron and the tragedy of Sokovia. When a new team of superheroes is entangled in disaster and an Avengers mission goes wrong, the government steps in with new legislation that would force all superheroes to register, and be overseen, by the government. Eager to right the wrongs of his past, Tony Stark is quick to join the government's efforts, believing that oversight will ensure that more disasters do not happen at the hands of the Avengers or any other super-powered individuals. In opposition of this is Steve Rogers, who believes that government oversight would enable politicians to decide who the villains are, forcing superheroes to become nothing more than political pawns. When the King of Wakanda is assassinated and Steve's old friend turned enemy, Winter Soldier, is implicated things become even more complicated. Forced to choose a side in a civil war, Dean Allen can't stop thinking about a far greater threat that lurks. Please note that this is an installment in an ongoing series. In the aftermath of Malekith's assault on all of the realms, Thor has made Midgard his primary home. In the midst of tragedy, his relationship with Dean further develops and the Avengers learn of the whereabouts of a missing object of vast power- the scepter Loki had wielded during his invasion of Midgard. Stolen by Hydra, an organization bent on world domination, the scepter has been used in their experiments on human test subjects. This forever alters twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff- powerful, vengeful figures who hold Tony Stark and the Avengers responsible for the tragic losses they've suffered. Propelled by the traumas he has endured, Tony Stark uses the recovered scepter to develop a program called Ultron- designed to keep the world safe and ensure world peace. The plan goes horribly astray when Ultron becomes entirely sentient, finds and joins forces with Wanda and Pietro Maximoff and the three set out to tear the team apart and remake the world as they wish it. A world without Avengers. This is a retelling of Avengers: Age of Ultron. It is not intended to be a mirror image of the film. It is my adaptation. It features a homosexual relationship between Thor and an original male character. Don't read it if that's offensive to you. I do not own the Avengers.
