15 year old Ruby Weaver is a sophomore in Scout Academy, a top academy for snipers, and she is about to become a member of a 2 person sniper team. Before she is called, the spotter is called first then the sniper is called, the Headmaster calls my partner. And as she looks at the person going up the stage she thinks 'I'm never getting on the front lines'. Her partner's name is Parker Iparis.
