years into the future, on a water-based planet, a group of seven live in a large dome city, the only way they can live in a planet made entirely of water. the large dome city they inhabit, with simulated weather and times, is where individuals live normal lives, and train to either become space adventurers, or explore the 80% of their world that hasn't been discovered, which requires going out into the endless ocean. jeon jeongguk, min yoongi, jung hoseok, park jimin, kim namjoon, kim taehyung, and kim seokjin are grouped together, trained together, before being deployed together.

exploring the ocean while visiting many of the dome cities is something many refuse to do, as it requires travelling into the unknown depths of their world. min yoongi is a gay in denial, jeon jeongguk is a prick. park jimin claims his relationship with hoseok is nothing but "friends", jung hoseok is bitterly in love with him.
