After waking up in a empty alley, covered in blood and unable to remember his identity, a lonely and distrustful young man will have no choice but to survive a devastated world, where the laws no longer exist, the dead come to life, order is completely lost, and chaos reigns in the hearts of the living.
Set out on a journey in search of a refuge known as "The Scarlet Nation", he will do the impossible to hide from ruthless enemies and keep his darkest secrets hidden, but it won't be easy when he discovers that the dead begin to manifest very peculiar abilities.
Some will be much faster, some will be bigger and stronger, and at times... they will be indestructible.
