Eleanor, newly discovered by Dumbledore, is plucked out of her orphanage to attend Hogwarts. She was unaware of who her family had been, and that she had any remaining relatives left. But when she first meets her brother, the disappointing welcome hits hard. With the Tri-Wizard Tournament taking place, it's enough for Eleanor to simply try to survive, but how can she do that in a house that doesn't want her, with a brother that doesn't believe she's related to him. With nothing left to hold onto, perhaps power is all that's left. Does it truly matter if that power is light or dark? Begins in 4th year and will continue to the end of the series. Currently writing in 5th year. Currently at approximately 190,000 words as of the end of chapter 62.

Book Two of the Obsidian Bloom Series She wasn't born to save the world. She was born to choose who survives it. The prophecy was never about Harry alone. Buried beneath the lies and shadows, one name was always left unspoken - Alsephina Black. A girl of ancient blood, bound to fire and magic too dangerous to control. A girl whose choice will tip the scales of the war. And everyone wants her. The Order shields Harry, whispering loyalty and trust - but they only want to keep her close. Voldemort pulls at Draco, dangling legacy and power - but he only wants to bind her through blood. Alsephina sees through it all. She doesn't care who wins. She doesn't care who burns. She only cares about two people. Draco, the boy who knows her soul - with something older, deeper. A bond no spell can break. Harry, the boy she burns for - recklessly, obsessively, completely. But as the world tilts into war, Alsephina must make an impossible choice - between the light that makes her feel human, and the blood that reminds her who she is. Alsephina was never the weapon. She's the one who unleashes it. And when she blooms again, it will be in blood. It will be in crimson.
