Olivia Mercer used to have it all: popularity, good grades, captain of the varsity soccer team. Then the summer before her senior year, something changes. Now she’s the girl who’s gone wild: partying, drugs, failing grades. Then she takes it too far, overdosing at a party that gets raided by the police. Instead of being faced with drug charges, her parents make a hefty donation to SFPD and all evidence of the incident disappears, but not without consequences. Now Olivia is stuck talking to a therapist and volunteering on the weekends. She meets Ben Delgado, a fellow volunteer and senior at school. As Olivia spends more time with Ben, she finally starts to open up and starts acting like her old self. Until someone comes back into her life and threatens to ruin it all, to reveal her secret—the reason why she spiraled out of control in the first place.
