After the war with Hybern, Canna was free. Free to live as she pleased, not shackled to a tyrant king, forced to harm and kill. The Cauldron was sent somewhere far away, its whispers quieter than before.

During the war, she did terrible things--harmed good fae, killed so many warriors of Prythian. She also found her mate--Azriel, the spymaster--and fellow Shadowsinger--of the Night Court. When the Cauldron broke, she died. It was put back together, and thus, so was she. But after all those terrible things, she couldn't live with Azriel and his court--no matter how much she wishes to. So, she set off on her own, hoping to find ways she can right her wrongs.

An old enemy resurfaces, plunging her right back into action. Will she be able to turn away from the anger and despair that she clutched to in Hybern? Or will it consume her and turn her into a new kind of enemy to be defeated?

This is book 2, the sequel of A Court of Desires and Darkness! Will have some spoilers for ACOSF but will mostly be my own plot.

However, the peace they've known thus far is almost at an end. For months, Estelle has suffered nightmares of the events that took place on Ramiel, and they are growing worse with each day that her questions remain unanswered. It is time for the mystery to be unraveled, but what will it cost to do so? There is more at stake now than either of them could have imagined. Are they facing an isolated threat, or is it possible that some ancient foe lurks within Prythian's borders, waiting for her chance to strike? || Highest ranking: #9 in protection ⚔️ #1 in A Court Of Thorns and Roses🌹 #7 in Sarah J Maas 🧝🏼‍♀️ || "What?" Rhys asked, frowning at Mor. She shrugged, "by the looks of it, your going to be a father soon." Darkness exploded through the room. Cutting out my vision, it seeped through the windows, blocking out any visible light. Calloused hands pressed down against my shoulders, holding me in place. Soothing talons scraped down my mental barriers, trying to pry them open. I could feel his presence through the dark, feel the warmth of his body as he stood in front of me. The darkness subsided to uncover the violet stare of Rhysand eyes gazing down at me. Talons scraped at my mental walls once more before he spoke down our bond, Is this true? I looked to my mate, "Yes." He receded a few steps, stumbling over his words, "how?" "Well, when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much-" "HOW?" He snapped, cutting me off. Sighing, I relaxed my wings, exhausted from today's events, and let them slide to the floor. "A witch put a spell on me," I muttered, unable to make eye contact, "one which I think changed the year I was living in." *** Feyre is the Hight Lady of the Night Court. Living out her life, she thought it was going to be a prefect happily ever after with her only struggles being breaking the news to her mate about her pregnancy. Little did she know the darkness looming within the background, waiting to strike. When a witch appears on her door step, the last thing she would of expected was to be cursed to another year, before she ever existed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a seperate novella spinoff of the acotar series.
